DAVIMUS I STUDENT PROJECT

Davimus 1 students interview and edit the stories of immigrant experience
Actors will perform stories in English and Italian

DVD’S will be produced incorporating digital storytelling with music, sounds and images
Students will produce a power point presentation of images, music and words in Italian and English as backdrop for dramatized performances

Improvisational skits serious and comic regarding identity, trust, power relationships and relating language difficulties. Dancers may perform dances of the 20’s and traditional Italian folk dance may be performed outside of churches.

Research on Italian immigrants of the 20’s and 30’s and Sacco and Vanzetti . Students will collect images and perform related skits based on research. Final student performances will take place in Santa Maria dei Barbuti Church
